The Royal Oak Inn has a single, sub-divided bar with dark blue wainscotting and cream painted wallpaper. We sat to the right-hand side where there are a couple of Chesterfields around a fireplace containing a wood burner, with a pool table to the rear. Music was playing in an attempt to create a little atmosphere, as there were no other customers but ourselves. Rainbow flags were on display in advance of Wotton Pride.
There are 4 handpulls on the bar. Just 2 were clipped with Wye Valley HPA & Stroud Tom Long. Ciders were Inch's & Thatcher's Gold. Camden Pale & Brooklyn The Stonewall Inn IPA were on keg.
The only pub in Wotton with a car park, a few more customers wouldn't go amiss!
