Very nice but small Wadworth pub - five very smart wooden hand pumps with metal bands display four Wadworth beers and a guest from Hop Shed (see photo). I haven't had Wadworth beers for a long, long time, so I went for 6X and Henry - now 4.1% and 3.4% respectively. Both were in decent condition - virtually inseparable at NBSS 3.5 - but I'm not sure I would make the effort to cross the road another time. But I wouldn't want to put anyone else off. Background music seems to be from Spotify, which will be first against the wall when I become world king.

Attractive old Wadworth's pub opposite the spoons. I had a Corvus stout which was excellent. Well worth a visit.

this is a rather lovely antique pub in the middle of Tewkesbury that had a touch of the Royston Vaseys about it this afternoon. I won't hold that against it too much as it did have a pleasant traditional atmosphere and proper beer on the bar.

This is an old pub that is a Wadworth tied house, the first one I had visited for many years. it consists of a room at the front with a smaller room at the rear all with wooden floors. It was quiet on my Tuesday afternoon visit but in December the whole of Tewkesbury seemed dead.
There were hand pumps in the front and rear bars with three ciders at the back and four Wadworth beers at the front namely 6X, IPA, Swordfish and Old Timer. I went for the Old Timer (£3.50) which was in good nick but very much had that distinctive Wadworth taste that rather puts me off their beers. Nevertheless this seemed a pleasant enough place and the landlady was very friendly. It's GBG 2017 listed.

Small, locals' pub in ancient timbered building, with alleyway along the side giving access to rear bar and toilets. Front bar has lots of woodwork and good traditional; rear 'lounge' bar is not very loungey but slightly quieter. Food looked homemade and very good value but not sampled. Beers from Wadsworth range.
