The Hog is the only remaining pub in the village of Horsley. It has a horseshoe-shaped bar with laminate flooring. There is a dartboard to one side and there are lots of board games available to play. A TV was showing a World Cup football game and pop music was being played. There were also some books available to borrow.
Stroud Tom Long is the regular cask ale. A guest beer was Downlands Revival, with a third handpull clipped with Lilley's Rhubarb Cider. There was also a fourth unclipped handpull. Keg beers included Burning Sky Arise & Beavertown Neck Oil. Food also seems quite popular here. An outdoor drinking area adjoins the small car park. Not a bad place to end our Gloucestershire pub crawl in.
