We eat out at plenty of places that are ok but this one deserves special praise.

Starters are about £5, mains £12, puds £5. Menu included wild boar, bison & kangaroo plus dishes with “normal” meat, steak, fish & veggie dishes. It took a long time to choose as it all sounded mouth-watering and it was fabulous - perfectly cooked, tasted delicious, sauces were just right - all homemade. Potatoes and veg come in a big dish to share.

Good choice of desserts or a huge dish of ice-cream (5 flavours).

You must book as it is very popular - meals took about 1/2 to 3/4hr to come, dessert was about 10 mins. It took 3 hours for a beautiful, relaxed meal out.
