Quite a dark wood panelled interior serving 4 real ales.

Located in a housing estate a mile away from the Bath Road, this is a 30s-style boozer that appears to retain most of its internal wood panelling. Likely a two-roomer in a previous life (there are two separate entrances) this is now one room served by a central bar. A roaring early Friday evening trade was being done on food and drink and even the limited Wadworth range of 6X, IPA and Horizon threw up a superb half of the latter (£1.85). A very good find and surprising that it hasn't been visited or commented on before.
