A village pub packed, as it should be on a Sunday lunchtime with people drinking and dining. The room is thin, and rectangular, the bar occupying a position centre-left with limited seating in front and a couple of sofas against the far right-hand wall. A dining area is located to the far left. A four ale line-up consisted of Fuller's London Pride, Timothy Taylor Landlord, XT 4 and Gun Dog Chilli Dog which was decent, albeit at £2 for a half. I liked this place but made a note to return at a less-busier time in order to soak up a little bit more of its ambiance.
