This is quite a large pub inside, but full of character. Comfortable and beer pretty good. Greene King on handpump was good to sit outside in the beer garden on a summers eve.

This is a well kept pub that is quite large inside with lots of wood beams. There is a partially separated public bar area with a pool table and flat screen television, a main bar area, and a restaurant area separated by a large fireplace. The outside seating area is pleasant and there is ample parking. Food is a major feature, although none was being served when we visited late in the afternoon. Greene King IPA, Abbot Ale, Old Speckled Hen and old Skipper were available from hand pumps. The down side was the price of a small glass of pump dispensed Coke at £1.90. We will not be making a special journey to visit again.

Not a bad pub but nothing special.Only the Greene King range of beer on, which wasn't worth the 45 min walk from the nearest bus stop.Didn't have any food but sausage and mash at £7.25 seemed a bit of a rip off.
