Despite being a Hungry Horse, still very much a genuine pub with lots of wood beams and low ceilings in the rooms which extend round a central bar. There is a pool table in a front room, with the family restaurant bit confined to the rear, and various entertainments advertised. Draught ales not hugely exciting as Abbot, IPA & OSH but seemed in reasonable condition. large car park and garden area to the back.
