Strongers . left this review about The Dog & Partridge
The Dog and Partridge sits behind picnic tables and planters to the front and a car park to the right that is also used as a dumping ground for old fencing and other crap that should be taken to the dump. Through the front entrance to the right there’s a public bar with seating and a dartboard on the rear wall, but this was empty, so I made my way into the carpeted left-hand saloon bar that was busy with ten or so locals. In here a barstool lined L-shaped serving counter across the right side of the rear wall faces seating across the front windows and a fireplace with adjacent table to the left next to a door to a conservatory with more seating and access to the rear beer garden with picnic tables and covered high tables. Standard and premium keg options were available alongside an offering from Camden Brewery, there are no hand pumps. On my way to the toilet, I stumbled across a games room at the rear where some younger locals were playing pool and darts while some background music played. The service was polite, but I didn’t really settle so I don’t plan on returning.
