The Anchor is carpeted throughout with tiling around the central serving counter that supports standard keg alongside Birra Moretti, but unfortunately one of the two hand pumps was unused and the TT Landlord was off. There’s a mix of seating throughout with mainly standard tables up the left and high tables the right. A pool table and dartboard are found in the left rear corner and there’s an exposed brick fireplace to the right of the counter where some chopped logs also sit ready for a cold snap. Televisions throughout were airing muted Champions League football via TNT Sports and background music played from the jukebox. The lack of ale wasn’t ideal, but I still thought this was a friendly local that I would revisit if passing.

A friendly local pub this one, has a pool table, sky sports, fruit machines and music. Ales served were Bombardier, GK IPA, and Sharps Doom Bar.
