Strongers . left this review about The Brickmakers Arms
The Brickmakers is located off the main drag meaning that it is mainly used by locals that know where it is. The interior consists of a three sided bar that faces sections with limited seating to the front and right and a pool table and dartboard to the rear. A flat screen TV was showing Euro 2016 football so the jukebox was switched off. There was an advertisement for live music at the weekend and an open mic night on the third Thursday of each month. I didn’t venture out the back, but I did spy a large beer garden through the window. Premium keg products were available from the bar that also supports two hand pumps that were drawing Harvey’s Best and Franklins Brewing Company’s Pavilion 35. Pub grub mains all priced under £10 are available all day.
This is a very basic pub that I wouldn’t go out of the way to revisit, but I would probably use if I lived very locally.
