Strongers . left this review about The Shore
The Shore is a large L-shaped pub with a pool table at the rear by the back doors that lead to an outside decked area that has some seating. The furniture is made up of sofas and cheap pine effect tables and chairs and there is a suspect amber hue emitted from the lighting. Some random background music was playing when I visited on Monday afternoon and I spotted a couple of fruit machines and two plasma screens, although I spotted no Sky Sports advertisements. Food is served and although I didn’t spot a menu I’d imagine that it is at the cheaper end of the market. The usual draught suspects are all present at the bar along with two hand pumps, one of which was unused, but Skinners Ginger Tosser was available. The Guinness was well served and I found the service to be polite. Children are permitted during the day and there is a late license until midnight on Thursdays and 00:30 on Fridays and Saturdays. I did get the feeling that this place would get busy with younger drinkers over the weekend and probably wouldn’t be a place I would visit at this time.
Accommodation is available.
I think that there are better places for an afternoon beer in Seaford, but I have been in far worse places than this one.
