Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Kings Head Inn
Traditional-looking inn, located at the crest of Rye Hill on the boundary with the parish of Playden, with a motto of 'Eat, Drink & Stay' suggesting something rather more modern inside (and indeed there is). To all intents and purposes, the three sides of the bar are really dining areas - with almost all the tables laid up accordingly - although it doesn't feel the sort place that would have a problem with people just having a drink unless they are fully booked - but on a fine day the three wooden benches in the compact triangular beer garden were a good spot for a pint anyway. Two of three handpumps in operation, offering the obligatory Harvey's (£4.00) plus Friar's from The Canterbury Ales.
