Now a Laine's pub, they have removed the handpulls, leaving just keg options - Laine Source, Mangolicious, Fader & Rippa, Abyss Super Pale & Siren Lumina.
The interior has lots of dark wood, which makes it feel a little gloomy. I can't say I'm a fan of Laine's beers or their pubs. This one is no exception.

A large, cavernous high street pub with two split level areas, Dark Star Hophead was the only ale along with a couple of Ciders on hand pump, several craft taps were on the back wall. I couldn't warm to this place.

The Albion is a Harvey’s pub with a large front bar area that houses two projector screens and at least one plasma screen for showing Sky Sports. The bar stocks standard draught whilst supporting six hand pumps that were drawing Harvey’s Best (x2), Old Ale, Dark Mild and Kiss alongside Timothy Taylor’s Landlord. My visit was on Tuesday evening when there was a boisterous but friendly crowd in watching the Arsenal v AC Milan Champions League game. There are a few steps at the rear that lead down to a dining area and there are provisions for smokers out the back.
I thought that the staff were very friendly and that this is a decent pub that I would happily visit again.
