Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Moda
Modern sports-type bar with a semi-modern but Gothically dark interior supplemented by a fair amount of pavement seating out in the pedestrianised area. Caught it at a relatively quiet time, but with the women's Euro football final in a couple of hours, I doubt it will stay that way... Apart from that, no cask ale, and only limited keg options, from which Salt's Alpaca Lypse (£3.40, half) was the best bet.

A rather dark place claiming to be a "cocktail bar" but mainly a student hangout. One medium-sized room with a bar to one side and a pool table at the back. A row of keg fonts only, with a couple from Camden (notably overpriced) but otherwise pretty tedious.

Moda is a single room bar in the pedestrian zone in Hastings town centre and it was very quiet at 20:00 on Friday evening. The bar is located on the left hand wall and is stocked with standard draught products as well as Peroni and a lone hand pump was drawing Harveys Best. The staff were pleasant enough, but they were hardly rushed off their feet. Sky Sports is shown here and there are four plasma screens as well as a projector screen. Some dance tunes were playing during my visit but muted Sky Sports News was still on a couple of screens. Food is served and the prices on the specials board ranged from £3.25 for the soup to £7.50 for the Aberdeen Angus burger and chips. There is a pool table at the rear and out the front there is some café style seating for the smokers.
I’ve been in worse places, but if I were to be looking for a beer in Hastings I would head towards the Old Town Area where the better pubs are located.
