Strongers . left this review about Flarez
I was caught in two minds whether to go into Flairz at 19:30 on Friday evening as there were a couple of very drunk and foul mouthed blokes smoking in the doorway with some sort of pit bull looking dog in tow. I decided to give it a miss until I noticed that the side door was open so I slipped in that way. I was expecting some chav pit with wall to wall TV screens showing Sky Sports News, but it was empty apart from one middle aged woman and the barman. There is a plasma screen that was showing muted Motors TV so I was nearly right. The jukebox was playing and some disco lights were flickering into a disco ball which gave a strangely depressing atmosphere. The bar is stocked with standard draught products and Hobgoblin was available from the functioning hand pump next to the one that was unused. There is a pool table at the rear of this single room bar and I think that the toilets are upstairs, I’m not sure if anything else is found up there. This place advertises itself as a pub and venue and there was some live music advertised, but not a lot was happening when I popped in.
This is the closest pub to Hastings Railway Station and it is quite disappointing.
