Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Mount Pleasant

Although this traditional corner pub is close to the station, it's to be found up a short, steep hill with sharp corners so you are unlikely to find it by chance. Two-part bar area only has a few tables so it feels quite open by the windows and around the dartboard a bit further back. However, beyond this, more seating can be found down a few steps en route to the rear patio garden. Sadly, no cask ale these days from a solitary handpump, so had a quick 1664 (£2.80, half) before moving on.

Strongers . left this review about Mount Pleasant

The Mount Pleasant was one of the busier pubs in the area when I visited on Friday evening last week. The bar is located at the front of the pub where there are a couple of plasma screens for showing Sky Sports and dartboard is set up ready to play. At the rear is a room that houses a pool table and some covered decking out the back caters for the smokers. The jukebox was in full swing during my visit and the local crowd was lively without being threatening so there was a good atmosphere. Standard draught products are available from the bar and the two hand pumps in this freehouse were drawing Youngs Ordinary and Doom Bar.

This is not a pub that I would travel to visit, but it is a nice enough local for the residents to enjoy.
