Strongers . left this review about The Lord Warden
The Lord Warden is a split bar local’s boozer in the backstreets of Hastings where there is little chance of coming across it by chance. The left had side of the pub is mainly seating and the right hand side houses a free pool table, a quiz machine and a jukebox. There is also a projector screen that was rolled up, but I didn’t spot any advertisements for Sky Sports. A buffet was being set up during my early evening visit last Saturday so I must have just missed the party. I did manage take advantage of the nibbles on that were sitting on the bar that may or may not have had something to do with the party. Standard draught products are available from the bar and Greene King IPA and Abbot were the two al options. There are steps up to the entrance and the toilets are down some steps at the rear of the pub.
This is a laid back old school boozer that is fine if living locally, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit here again.
