There has reportedly been a Hare and Hounds in Ore since the 1770’s when it was a coaching Inn. It ceased trading in 2006, but the old windows with the name etched on are still intact. I walked past on Saturday night a couple of weeks ago and could have sworn that it looks as though it could reopen tomorrow and start trading and there was someone playing Xbox or some other such contraption on the old pub TV.
