Strongers . left this review about The Swan

On the rear wall of the Swan is a U-shaped serving counter that supports premium keg, including Balfour Lager and IPA, as well as four hand pumps, two of which were in use drawing bests, one from Harveys and the other Longman. To the right of the bar is an inglenook adjacent to the hotel check-in desk. To the left of the bar are some high tables with stools and there’s seating in alcoves either side of the central entrance. My recent early Saturday evening visit coincided with the end of a Six Nations match, but I think the locals were more interested in the football results. The service was polite, but I didn’t find it to be very welcoming, and there wasn’t a great atmosphere, so I was glad to leave.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Swan

Fine old building in a prominent position on a junction at the south end of the village, now run by the small, upmarket Balfour Hospitality chain so with more of a food pub focus these days. That said, there is still plenty of general seating in the spacious bar area. Of course, Harvey's was on one of the pair of handpumps, with Cellar Head's Red Bull (£4.50) on the other. Not bad, but my visit was spoilt by some deplorable customer service (and rating reduced accordingly).

LMKI LMKI left this review about The Swan Mountain Range Restaurant & Bar

Went here today and had a lovely meal, service was good and food was lovely, only downfall was they offer "hot rocks" (where they bring the meat on a granite stone for you to cook) personally I do not want to go out to eat to cook my own food). The hot rocks also limited my selection as most meat dishes were offered only this way. They also only have a small selection of sandwiches.
