There is some John Barras glasswork behind the bar in the Stanmer Park Tavern and this large detached pub with cheap food deals and plasma screens for Sky Sports throughout is their usual business model. I was surprised to see no mention of this pub on the JB website, so maybe it has been sold on. The aforementioned food is served from midday until 21:00 and the bar is stocked with standard draught products. There are two hand pumps, but they were both off apparently for line cleaning. This is a large L shaped pub with steps in the middle that join either side. To the right are a large projector screen and a pinball machine. The toilets are also located on this side and there is a toy machine outside them for the children that are permitted during the day. The raised left hand side of the pub is mainly seating. There are picnic tables outside the front of this pub and a garden that I did not visit is advertised.

This is the sort of place I would go to with a large group of mates to watch the match, but for a quiet midweek beer it is a little boring.
