Visited 08/12/25. Visited previously 21/07/22.
Two hand pumps, one dispensing Rosie's Pig cider the other unclipped. Two Laine quaffs (Sonar, Mangolicious) plus Guinness, Cruz, Amstel, Moretti, b&c Old Mount cider, Orchard Thieves cider, Dusty's alcoholic ginger beer, Stone Wood Pacific Ale, Gamma Ray, Redchurch lager.
U shaped venue with banquette seating serving regular tables around the perimeter of the pub and regular or tall tables with commensurate chairs the other side thereof. Bare boarded with a tiled skirt around the three sides of the bar counter with service on the two longer sides. Picnic style tables out the front and there is a garden out the back. There was a lovely fire blazing away here, low lighting and plenty of Xmas decks so very festive and homely on my visit, especially as I caught early evening early week so much less busy than when I often pass on a weekend afternoon or evening.

A slightly opened out two bar pub with a further outside seating area to the rear, wooden floorboarding, Red ceiling and Buff coloured walls adourned with plenty of contemporary artwork.
The central circular bar had four hand pumps with just two in use,the choice being 360 Degrees Dampfbeir#44 and Brighton Bier Southcoast IPA,both brews were in good shape. This pub had a quirky feel about it complete with red telephone box being used as a log store.I liked this pub and it turned out better than I was expecting.

The White Rabbit is located down Kensington Gardens which is a pedestrianised road with small shops occupied by independent traders either side. There are five long picnic tables located outside the front of the pub and walking through the entrance I passed an old red London phone box on my way to the U shaped bar area. I only noted Broadside and Old Rosie as being available from hand pump and two others were unused, but a standard draught selection was available alongside Amstel. It was very busy with a student crowd, some of whom were dressed as bears, and the music was very loud. Pub grub is available and the mains all came in around the £7 mark.
I obviously witnessed this pub at a busy time and I would be interested in a visit during the day in the near future.

Popped in here on a hot and sunny spring afternoon, having spent too long trawling around the North Laine area of Brighton, in order to grab a much needed Sunday roast.
The pub has been decorated to fit in with the 'Camden-esque' environment it finds itself in. Large art prints of Keith Moon & Johnny Rotten, among others, adorn the walls and a decent alternative play-list accompanied us throughout. It had the feel of a student bar, but there was virtually no-one there except ourselves and a few sat out the front. There was a reasonable selection of ales on offer, which I hadn't expected whilst the roast was huge and very tasty.
The pub also has a seating area out the front which is ideal for watching the world go by, as well as a small, somewhat neglected decked area out the back.
I thought I'd hate this place, but it was actually pretty good and the staff in particular were very friendly and efficient. Probably not everyone's cup of tea though.
