The White Hart, Wimborne

This traditional town pub dates from the 17th Century is hidden away on the old Cornmarket, although there is a back entrance which leads through a car park to the Town centre. It offers 3 large bars which have been recently restored and comfortably refurbished including installation of a pool table. There is a pleasant, private garden which gives a good view of the Minster and has plenty of seating and a barbecue, but the noise from the air conditioner ruins the effect. The staff are wonderfully welcoming the clientele range gorgeous to garrulous via gormless. There were 4 ales on, and I had a pint of Ringwood Best which was good but not perfect – possibly a bit beyond its best. I would Hartily recommend a visit.
