The last remaining ‘proper pub’ on the East side of the Harbour, at least according to the young, enthusiastic barman who welcomed us into this traditional town boozer. It sits just a short walk away from the main tourist drag, slightly hidden by the bridge but obvious if you’re looking for it. There are two main bar areas, one a public bar with pool, darts and a jukebox pushing out modern and classic rock numbers, the other a quieter saloon with Spartan wooden furniture and another dart board. There was a large TV screen, but this was switched off. The music has definitely improved since Quinno’s review, though the locals were probably just as loud and earthy. That said, the atmosphere was convivial and we were made to feel part of the party. They host regular karaoke and live music acts, though not while were were there, thankfully. Ales on draught were Tribute and Doombar, both in average condition. Also available were Madri, Stella, Guinness and Fosters. I might include in a crawl, and it’s good to find a harbourside pub that hasn’t been ruined by tourism, although they do have limited opening hours.

Basic rough-and-ready local's pub by the harbour. Dog legged interior over two rooms with some reproductions of old dock lists and sailing rosters on the walls. Atmosphere that may have been pleasant was spoiled by thudding modern music at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon. The friendly and professional (if overworked) barmaid kept order well. Two cask, Sharps Doom Bar and an over-the-hill St Austell Tribute (NBSS 2).

Decent enough pub serving 6X and London Pride.
But nothing to distinguish it from all the other "decent" pubs (and there's a LOT in Weymouth).

This pub is next to the harbour but on the quiet side of the bridge where most tourists dont walk by.
This pub is open plan inside and had greenalls signs outside when we went in here there were two real ales onthe bar we had a drink of Whitbread Flowers this was a decent drink the other beer was Bass.
