Previously The Railway Hotel, this modest Victorian house isn't really a pub any more having been trading as an Indian restaurant for just over ten years now. It still has a public bar, though, so merits a review. As the name suggests, the hotel was built to serve the railway so is the only Wareham pub outside the Iron Age town ramparts; the town centre is around ¼ mile from the station. The original bars are now dining rooms, while the current, rather scruffy, bar is housed in an extension at one end adjacent to the somewhat pointless garden with its sad-looking benches and tables and its unloved lawn. There is no real ale, no decent bottled beer, no reasonable wine and no real cider. It closes most lunchtimes, so there is no real point in coming here other than for a ruby, though to be fair the food is quite good.

Primarily a Indian Restaurant next to the Wareham train station, one non-restaurant bar selling the usual selection of lagers/ciders.
