A new Marston's pub built as part of the Morrison's complex which includes the supermarket, a huge car park and a petrol station. At the front is a paved area with astroturf down which masquerades as a beer garden. The single large L-shaped bar is carpeted and has a families' dining area at one end where the noisy children are corralled. There is a repro Victorian fireplace at the apex. There are gaming machines and WiFi, although the latter wasn't working. Food is of the pre-fabricated microwaved shopper-fodder variety. Three ales on draught were Ringwood Razorback, Mauler and Fortyniner plus Marston's Empire IPA. The beers were not well kept, especially the Mauler which had a strange aftertaste. Probably fine for a swift one but not for an evening's libation if beer quality is important.
