Traditional multi roomer (four, I think – and a * CAMRA NI listing) with a decent-sized beer garden. Basic décor - bare boards, white red and black colours, crossed muskets above the fireplace, though each room has its own distinct feel. Cask located in the far bar but is chalked-up at main entrance with the choices on my visit being 2x Palmers, Butcombe and Dartmoor Jail. My Palmers 200 was GBG-par (NBSS 3) and weighed-in at a fairly hefty £5.15. Will appeal to the traditionalist, I thought it was worth the bus out from Weymouth to sample. 7.5
