Bucking Fastard left this review about L A Taphouse
A shop conversion with a large outside seating area, the interior is stylish and modern with some flock wallpaper,Farrow & Ball colours elsewhere and modern light fittings.Bench seating opposite the bar with pews,a drinking shelk at the front with high chairs and a sofa to relax on immediately to the left of the front door.It looks like a father and daughter team although in Rugeley anything goes and the two handpumps were pleasing to see as the keg selection looked mundane.I can forgive the use of a commercial radio station for music....just.Only one pump working on my Friday evening visit with Hobson Town Crier on cracking form NBSS Very Good and £4 per pint.Another ale in that kind of condition would have upped the score,it's most certainly worth visiting when in town.
