Strange little place, a bottleshop with small bar that doesn’t actually open until the evening on a Saturday. Selection of various small brewery cans and the like. Inevitably I decided to have the strongest darkest one available (Twice Brewed Main Offender) and regretted that decision about a third of the way down. Nevertheless, I gamely kept chugging and chatting to the extremely friendly and engaging young barmaid who was polite enough to reciprocate; she helped make it an enjoyable stop in what would otherwise be a fairly functional and niche bar.
