The brewery is at the far end of a rather ramshackle industrial estate, in a fairly sizable concrete block unit. The drinking space is a small area at the front of the building with the brewery beyond. There was just three small fold down tables and chairs on my visit, maybe a few more are added on a Friday and Saturday, an upright piano is the only other addition to the space. A long trestle table made for the bar with a rack of casks behind for gravity dispense, three beers were available on my visit all of course from Longdog, Red Runner, Basingstoke Pride and Golden Poacher. The bar is open five days a week, closed on Sundays and Mondays, being a Tuesday afternoon when I popped in It was just me and the solitary brewer in the place, he was busy doing brewing stuff and the room was full of the pungent malt smell.
It's all very basic but worth dropping in should you be nearby for some unfathomable reason.
