Brainy Pool left this review about The Kitchen Tap
An unexpected find in a new development behind Tesco, this is a cafe/bar that feels like something from a trendy part of Manchester. It contains a bar area with only high counter seating plus a bigger space with more comfort, a stage and big screen TV. Fairly standard range of crafty and commercial beer, no cask. Typical bar food available, which was exactly what I needed after an afternoon of drinking. Whilst I prefer a proper pub, this certainly made a more pleasant drinking environment than the nearby Greene King and Harvester venues.
