Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Royal Cheriton
An unassuming-looking suburban pub on a main road into the town centre, but rather more interesting inside than I was expecting. The L-shaped arrangement of the bar and lounge areas is full of curiosities, including naval ephemera and a skeleton seated in an inverted wicker chair hanging from the ceiling. Comfortably furnished and food available daily in the separate rear dining room. The only downside is the pair of very disused handpumps, with the keg offerings including Greene King IPA (£4.90), Old Speckled Hen and Hazy Day.
