Retford Craft House has a wooden serving counter on the rear wall to the right where four hand pumps area supported, the available cask was Cloudwater Brewing’s Acadian and Mine to Give alongside Neptune’s Luminosa and Sureshot Brewing’s Not Now Silent Singer. There are also four craft taps on the counter that complement the ten craft taps across the back bar, all served by a very friendly governor. Open plan seating is found on a blue carpet in the left side of the pub and across the rear is laminate flooring and a long banquette that runs across the rear wall. There’s a single television that was airing Absolute Radio. This wasn’t the most atmospheric place I visited during my crawl of the town, but the Luminosa was good and the welcome friendly, so I’d pop back in again when it’s hopefully a bit busier.

A new (2025) micro next to the bus station, not that small as these go, it’s a long room that doubles back on itself, carpeted and with comfy seating, it’s got piped music and a screen as well.
Four pulls on the counter plus a group of four shiny keg taps and another ten on the back wall; the keg choice is displayed on an Untapped display on the end of the counter. Seating as said is comfy on well upholstered arm chairs at wooden tables.
Beers had north eastern theme with Two by Two and Wylam represented as well as Milestone and
Collys. There’s fridges of cans and shelving of wooden crates full of snacks. Toilets are separate male and female at the right hand end.
