Frog on the Bine is a small open plan laminate floored micro with a few small tables and a beer shelf with stools across the front windows. The short serving counter in the right rear corner supports eight craft keg products alongside two listed cask ales that were Eyam Brewery’s Best and Little Critters Brewing’s Pacifica during my recent Wednesday evening visit. These ales weren’t drawn by hand pump so some baggy hocus pocus is involved, I’m sure the very friendly and knowledgeable woman behind the bar would have gladly explained if I’d asked. I opted for a pint of Shindigger Black Nitro which I enjoyed listening to the background music from around the 1970s. If I lived locally this would be one of my stop offs for a couple of pints before moving on.

A very tastefully kitted out micro bar with a ground and a first floor. The owner was very friendly and chatty and the place was spotlessly clean. There is a small bar on the back right hand side with the handpumps and taps positioned over on the right hand side of the bar along with a beer board. Three handpumps with two in use on our visit dispensing two from Little Critters Brewery, which were Spot On session IPA and Blonde Bear. These were priced at £4.50 a pint and a half of beer was straight down the middle. Eight keg taps offering stout, Pils lager, cider and IPA's.
