Popular local brewery that has opened a bar on their premises to great fanfare. It’s a small and basic but nicely done room, certainly far more comfortable than your typical industrial tap room. Six of their ales on plus some ciders and imported keg. There is also an outside area where a singer was performing for their “Oktoberfest” celebration. unsurprisingly the place was very busy on a Friday evening in an area completely devoid of pubs… the only disappointment is that they currently do not sell bottles, given that was my primary purpose for calling in. But this is a very welcome opening for this end of Wigan and it should do very well on match days.
