Small recently opened Micropub cum bottle shop on the Beeston High Street just up from the main shopping area. Only been open three months but seems to be bedding in well.
I’m guessing its another shop conversion, but it is a downstairs bar room with a small outside section to the front and then an upstairs room with more tables and chairs.
No bar as such as there is just a four-tap wall on the back wall and its table service with the drink and nibbles menu on the table. And then several fridges and shelves for both off sales and drinking in.
Four craft options from KeyKegs and I went for the Play Brew Slip&Miss 5.2% Hazelnut and Marshmallow Stout at £6.50 a pint.
That makes two Micropubs in Beeston now and although the Pottle Ale House style focussing on cask ale was much more to my liking I thought this was a very good new addition to the local drinking scene and I wish it well.
