Crafty tap house micro with a faintly Teutonic bent. Oblong room with fairly dull dark green walls and a rough-cut particleboard bar and back. Usual hipster chairs and tables; it’s as Plain as the Mutley on which it’s located. Despite the fanfare only one of theirs was actually on. I was upsold the paddle which was fairly good value on happy hour; thirds of Flotzinger Hell, Bavo Blonde, Pohjala North Star and their own Mini 6000 (awful muck – I was warned). Barman was friendly if scatty, seemed to be news to him that a WWII bomb had ground town to a standstill. Maybe worth a nose if you've come up this way for the combo of GBG, Hyde chintz and Spoons but once was enough for me.
