Finding this place is the most difficult thing unless you approach it from the right direction where it has a frontage. Otherwise look for the various food ads on the Student Union and it is on the lower ground floor. As described below, a smallish rather confined space, although I did spot the JDW menu selection on tables on the floor below, which is presumably another dining area. Ales still the same also, although one of the local brews was off on this visit. One for completionists or crawlers, unless you are a student, but it is ok.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Luther's Bar

Part of the Students Union building, with the bar now run as a Wetherspoon franchise that also has its own entrance for the public. Quite a compact bar, with a larger dining room off to the right and some wooden tables outside in the courtyard. Given a semi-modern look but a surprisingly dark colour scheme. Ruddles, Doom Bar and Abbot available from the bank of five handpumps, along with a pair from the university's Stu Brew micro-brewery: Lab Session (£1.99) and Exam Room Tears.
