TGI Fridays is a chain I tend to avoid, but with little else in the area I thought I’d give it a go. There’s a motorbike in the entrance and the to the right is a central red stool lined steel topped serving counter with draught options of Red Stripe, Cruzcampo, Heineken and Neck Oil. At the rear is an open kitchen and I sat at one of the high tables across the front windows in front of the counter where there are views across the lake out front. The larger left-hand side is used for dining. The service was very polite, but I’m not a fan of chain restaurant-bars so I don’t plan on revisiting here, or indeed the Resorts World venue.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about TGI Fridays Birmingham NEC
Standard chain bar and (mostly) restaurant, but the general seating areas of this one do benefit from views across the Pendigo Lake from the picture windows and outdoor seating terrace at the front. No surprises on the drinks front either, with the 'choice' seemingly just the 'house' Fridays American Pilsner (brewed by Shepherd Neame), Bear Island east coast pale ale (£3.00, half) and Moretti.
