A surprising café bistro affair in an outbuilding through an archway, but located in a very attractive garden with a substantial patio area. It is all quite modern, with lots of dark paint and a few arty touches. Primarily a café but it does have one stand of keg taps, mostly mainstream stuff but including a Castle Rock Session brew, overchilled and overpriced naturally. Not somewhere I would go back to, unless during the beer festival.

This was the first year of the Tutbury town Beer Festival (Tap into Tutbury) and the Courtyard was included. On our visit we had a choice of four ales on stillage, which were provided by Wilsons of Warslow Brewery. The beers on offer were Kinsey Stout, Thor, Fiery Fred and Hip Hop.
This venue mainly caters for food and wine etc, but does have a choice of 6 continental lagers. Good seating area out in the front courtyard.
