No cask, keg options were the heavily promoted Meantime Tank Fresh lager on four taps on the bar counter. On the wall behind the ornate fronted bar counter were further taps providing Asahi, Jubel peach lager, Sambrook's Block Party IPA and their Session pale ale, plus Cornish Orchards cider and Guinness. There was a decent range of Belleville pale ale and IPA's in can.

This is a rather plush venue where the ten bowling lanes are located upstairs and not visited by me. The ground floor had a couple of shuffleboards and three dart boards. There was also a short lane skittles area to the side of the dartboards and some long leather benches to perch on whilst waiting for your turn. The music was lively, and the lighting was quite low, so the space had a decent ambience even when, on my visit, quiet. Seating was via a series of tall tables in front of the bar counter and by the dartboards with a red leather matching banquette to the side of the shuffleboards. Booth tables with the same red leather seating provided some space for diners here. Expectedly there is also a photo booth here.

I paid a very short visit to this place recently on my way to the Sambrook's taproom. The photos pretty much say it all. No real ale obviously. The name of the place is clearly a reference to the fact that there's a four lane bowling alley upstairs. The lanes weren't in use when I visited, and appeared to be a work in progress judging by the boarding and other stuff lying around the place. I'm not sure that the lanes were regulation length, but I could be wrong as it's not apparent from the photo that they are shorter than is usual. Anyway, it's clearly not a place that a serious bowler would want to patronise as I suspect they won't be dressing the lanes.

Not my sort of place, but I'm sure it will appeal to a lot of people.
