The Post Bar & Lounge is a trendy bar that was empty until I walked in at 19:30 on a recent Thursday evening, much to the annoyance of the barmaid. There’s some nice ironwork either side of the entrance and stamp murals are found on the ceiling. Banquettes run up the left-hand wall under a fake window (why?) and high tables run up the right. In the right rear corner a curved bar counter supports premium keg. Upstairs is some more seating and the toilets, I didn’t visit the advertised roof terrace. I didn’t like the background music, the drink selection was boring and the service was less than friendly, so no wonder it was closed when I passed again an hour later.
