Another surprising pub, apparently inserted into a terraced house. Inside started narrow, with a clutch of people watching sports TV, then produced a substantial bar counter and opened out into a larger room with pool, darts and a further large screen showing cricket as an alternative. The place was well-patronised and definitely felt like somewhere worth going to. 4 handpumps offered an excellent selection of cask ales - Three Brothers Northern Pale, Rudgate Battleaxe, Rat Brewery Drowned Rat and Frome Devils Backbone Stout. By contrast, the keg side seemed fairly mundane. Mind the opening hours (closed Mon and Thurs; evenings only Tues, Weds, Fri; all day weekends) but well worth finding.

This one looks like a micro in an ordinary terraced house, sadly due to its limited opening hours I couldn’t get in.
