Old Boots left this review about The Watchmaker
A micro on the corner of one of those arts and artisan centres but in a decent old building. Two rooms inside, the one fronting the road has the counter and a couple of taller tables with stools plus a drinking shelf and a window ledge also equipped with taller stools. The more basic back room has lower tables and wheelback chairs or short stools sitting on an old stone floor. Nicely done out in darker wood panelling, red and cream colour scheme and decorated with old photos. Four pulls with Yorkshire beers from Taylors and Ossett, Guinness of course and a T-Bar with better kegs mostly from Kirkstall, Veltins and there’s Ossett Hells Rat too. Not as interactive as some micros but well worth a visit due to the high quality beers. Unisex toilets next door down the yard. Watch out for the limited opening hours, it’s not open Monday and Tuesday, opens from 4pm Wednesday to Friday and from 3pm at the weekend.
