What may have started as a small bar next to the Stags Head seems to have taken over the whole building, with at least four rooms and possibly more. There are big screens showing sports, free pool table and live music. With all that excitement, there's obviously no time for real ale. My half of a pale, fizzy, lemon-y drink called Jute from Salt Brewery was pretty foul, and set me back £3, but at least I can say I've been. In fact this place has been done quite nicely and although I have no intention going back, a couple of hand pumps might stir a bit of interest.
