A single room micro, which was initially difficult to get into due to numbers. Once in, there was a good range of cask and keg beers available: Lister’s Limehouse Porter, Longdog Kismet and Golden Poacher, Stratton Lane First Gold and Crafty Brewing Hop Tipple. There were also 2 ciders from Lilleys on. There was a lot of emphasis on canned beer, which also didn’t feel right. The beer was good, but the welcome wasn’t, it felt very cliquey and the atmosphere was a bit strained. A decent enough pub for Andover, but it doesn’t make me want to rush back. They’re only open Thursday to Sunday, and booking is advisable.

Newly opened Micropub owned and run by Test Brewing. A single square shaped room with a ceramic tiled floor, sensible normal height tables and chairs and a few bar stools along a decent sized bar area. There are four handpumps , all were operational plus a further four ales straight from the cask, the beers were mostly locally sourced, two from Test Brewing, Wallop Gold and Dun Stout, Triple fff Apache Rose Peacock,Andwell Hop Dog,Red Cat Art Of T, Penton 50 Not Out, XT 4 and Yeovil Ruby, there were also four craft beers on keg and three or four real Ciders and Perrys. The pub also does a range of Gins and for any stray non drinkers an extensive range of Teas and Coffees. It's not the best Micro I've visited but decent enough and certainly a breath of fresh air for Andover.
