Cannot add much to OB's review although i did not venture to the upper floor.After purchasing my drink the friendly and helpful barmaid brought out a bowl of nibbles for me and also,after i had lost my maps and bus details kindly googled the nearest stop for the 91 bus to Chapel Allerton.

Slightly yoghurt knitters cafe type place with 2 keg beers and bottle selection which are brewed on site, upstairs. Restaurant more than bar but there’s no problem just trying the beers, interesting rather than moreish would sum them up. The food service is glacial but the food is very good when it comes.
