Don’t be fooled by the name – there is no locale (in the sense we on this site understand it) in this cocktail and wine bar, a modern tourist trap which sells over-priced trendy food, ordinary wines at extraordinary prices and pasteurised bottled ‘craft’ beers at very silly prices indeed. Part of the establishment is an Italian restaurant, but having seen the state of the slop-jockeys smoking, spitting and picking their noses by the front door as I passed just before lunch time, the thought of eating here makes me feel ill. The bar area serves tapas-type snacks, but the probability that it was prepared by those same grunge-buckets also put me off. Save your money and find a proper pub.
