First visit since the makeover. Oh dear!

I couldn't find the opening hours listed anywhere. Not on google maps. They have no facebook presence but are active on IG. I sent them a message. Day 3 and no reply. I did find them open on a Wednesday afternoon.

So what has changed?

The fridge space has been drastically reduced to about 1/4 of what was there. The keg offerings have been shortened considerably too. Still lost of interesting German bottle but I couldn't see any dunkels - which would have been my go to choice. I settled on a keg Tegernseer Helles, which was just over £6.

Took it outside - where they are going for a "continental cafe vibe" - this involved adding a half net curtain and pumping out French 60s pop music through an above door mounted sonos.

That soon became annoying. I followed the other customers and inserted my ear pods.

Pizza still available.

June '24 Update - becoming increasingly fond of this place due to its excellent variety of beers - always something good on keg (beak/deya) today. Very interesting bottle collection.

Visited a couple of times since - impressive range of keg and bottles. Learned on my latest visits you can either take your beers up to the Pizza place upstairs or vice versa. It is very good pizza - so adds to the experience.

Tiny Bottle Shop/Tap Room - with half a dozen kegs described through the TV Screen. Fridges filled with cans/bottles.

A rare chance to have an Ayinger Celebrator on draught. Plus an unpronounceable german xmas ale in bottle.

Sadly lacking atmosphere with no other punters in and barstaff that didnt engage any futher than immediate serving.

Toilets are Wetherspoon-esque in their distance from where the drinking is done.

Would definitely return for the international choice.
