An upmarket place in the picturesque village with interior stylings to match, all quite light and sparse despite the soft furnishings. To the rear is decent grassed garden. Three ales on; Sharps Doom Bar, Salopian Cliff Edge and Purple Moose Mws Y Meillion (NBSS 3.5 – impressive for this part of the world where crap cask is the norm). Staff were gracious enough to refill our water bottles. Overall it’s useful as a stop (I was blowing out of my rear end after a hot and elongated section the Wales Coast Path) but I couldn't warm to it as a venue despite the good beer - too sterile and stiff.
